The coffee table is the piece that ties it all together. It often serves as a focal point in the living room and it’s always a must have. This is why designers are constantly innovating and coming up with new designs meant to increase the coffee table’s functionality or aesthetic appeal. The materials they use are sometimes odd. Concrete coffee tables are, for example, may not be very popular but they’re definitely interesting. The Mason coffee table shows us that concrete has a sophisticated side. That side was showcased in a minimalist design which emphasizes the table’s polished surface, clean lines and cool gray color.
Cats are fussy and they can’t decide whether they should choose the white Devlin or the black Kitson chair. They both look comfortable and they combine classical and modern elements so well…On the other hand, the fur matches the seat on the second chair and you just can’t argue with that. When you bring home your new Jonah Sofa, who can blame this little dog for being enthusiastic about it? It’s just so sleek, comfortable and eye-catching at the same time. It would be a shame is someone were to ruin it on the first day. The Fonteys dressing table and stool are the perfect playground. Who needs all that cool furniture for pets when you have this combo? There’s even a mirror you can use to spy on your playmate when he thinks he’s hiding under the table.
Hanging beds are seen by some as being a sophisticated version of the hammock. But they’re much more than that. A hanging bed is a lot more versatile and complex than its simple design suggests. It’s possible to build your own hanging bed in which case the whole structure would be pretty straight forward. He’s a young designer from Poland who came up with the concept for a really interesting hanging bed. This one offers two positions. There’s the sleeping position and at this point all you see is a regular bed with a wooden frame. The only unusual detail are the four thick pieces of rope attached to the frame.
