Is it a hanging wine glass rack, a cabinet, one of those traditional wine glass holders or something completely different that you prefer? The possibilities and storage solutions are diverse and they each have their own defining characteristics that make them special. Choosing a certain type has to do with a lot of details including the space’s destination, size and type of décor or style.

A hanging bed is a lot more versatile and complex than its simple design suggests. It’s possible to build your own hanging bed in which case the whole structure would be pretty straight forward. He’s a young designer from Poland who came up with the concept for a really interesting hanging bed. This one offers two positions. There’s the sleeping position and at this point all you see is a regular bed with a wooden frame. The only unusual detail are the four thick pieces of rope attached to the frame.

Rattan chairs aren’t the only pieces of rattan furniture. There are consoles, bar carts, ottomans and many other pieces. Just keep looking until you find one that will fit your living room perfectly. Are you loving the airy rattan style but not really the color? One word: paint. Just because it’s rattan doesn’t mean it’s untouchable. So grab a can of spray paint in that bright shade you’ve been eyeing and go to work. Frugal tip, this is also a great way to bring an old inherited piece of rattan furniture to life in a modern living room like yours.
Garland Guay Furniture, 2018-01-17 11:33:30. The coffee table is the piece that ties it all together. It often serves as a focal point in the living room and it’s always a must have. This is why designers are constantly innovating and coming up with new designs meant to increase the coffee table’s functionality or aesthetic appeal. The materials they use are sometimes odd. Concrete coffee tables are, for example, may not be very popular but they’re definitely interesting. The Mason coffee table shows us that concrete has a sophisticated side. That side was showcased in a minimalist design which emphasizes the table’s polished surface, clean lines and cool gray color.

The bed comes with adjustable back lighting and the mattress is not included. We came across a similar design when we looked at actor Vincent Kartheiser’s Hollywood cabin. It was a stylish and very well organized space that featured a hanging bed attached to the ceiling with chain.

There’s actually a whole series entitled like that and it includes a TV unit, coffee table, side table and some wall shelves. Today we’ll only focus on the tables, trying to find ways to integrate them into ingenious projects. Let’s start with a simple transformation. For this project you can use either a Lack or a Hemnes table which are both Ikea coffee tables. Get some wooden boards and cut them to size so you can make a tabletop. Stain them and measure the center of the table so you know where to place the first board. Clamp each end down and then add the others the same way. Glue and screw all the boards, turn the table upside down and put something heavy on the middle. Let it sit overnight, add more screws in the center of each board but on the underside so you don’t see them.
